Course Content

• Carry out the safe work leader role
• Apply Safety Management
• Understand risk/ hazard identification
• Identify health and wellbeing risks
• Employ the safe work pack process
• Conduct SSOW worksite briefing

Prerequisites

• Candidates must be 18 years old
• Candidates must have a Sentinel card with a valid Personal Track Safety and COSS competency
• Valid medical and D&A relevant to your current sponsor and competency

Course Aims

The aim of the course is to provide delegates with the the skills and underpinning knowledge required to undertake Safe Work Leader Duties in line with competence.

By the end of this course candidates will be able to carry out the duties of a SWL1
