Quality Policy Statement

NTS Premier Services is committed to delivering quality services to our clients and achieving continuous improvements throughout our business to the benefit of customers and employees.

We aim to continuously improve the quality of service by focussing on client satisfaction and maintaining excellent relations with our clients.

NTS Premier Services has a company management system with documented policies and procedures, which sets the framework to enable us to deliver to client standards and meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

We have set quality objectives to achieve along with planned resourcing requirements.

To continually achieve our goals we will continually monitor and review our performance and take the necessary steps to improve service quality, in conjunction with our Customers, as appropriate.

NTS Premier Services recognises the importance of all staff members in achieving ever-improving quality standards, and to this end, we will ensure that employees are encouraged to develop their skills and initiative in the pursuit of customer satisfaction.

NTS’s services shall include the provision of agency track protection and building staff, track safety training and workplace assessments, and the supply of contingency labour to the rail industry.

Environmental Policy Statement

NTS is committed to the identification of environmental aspects of its activities and services and minimising the environmental impact to its railway Clients throughout their lifecycle. These services include provision of agency track protection and warning staff, track safety training and workplace assessments, occupational medical services, building services, and the supply of contingency labour to the rail industry.
The transportation and disposal of all wastes will be carried out in a responsible manner with due regard to environmental consideration and all current legislation.
Our investment policy and control measures take into account all national interpretations of the “Best Practicable Environmental Options”.
The Company recognizes its legal responsibilities under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and its associated underpinning regulations. The Managing Director is responsible for the implementation of the Company’s environmental policy. This policy shall be briefed to all NTS employees and made available to the public. The requirements of this policy shall be reviewed on a regular basis, but at least annually.

Health & Safety Policy

NTS Premier Services Policy is to promote a Health and Safety culture throughout the organisation, which aims as far as reasonably practicable towards the prevention of injuries and ill health of employees and others who may be affected by our work activities and to prevent any loss or damage to property, plant, and equipment. This shall be achieved and maintained by involving all levels of employees in systematically identifying workplace hazards, making adequate assessments and taking appropriate steps to set up safe systems of work, which control risks associated with the provision of agency track protection and warning staff, track safety training and workplace assessments, occupational medical services, building services, and the supply of contingency labour to the rail industry.
People are our key resource and NTS is committed to adequately re-sourcing all areas of its operation.
We believe that excellent Health and Safety standards shall contribute towards the development of our staff and lead to excellent business performance. Accordingly, we shall support Health and Safety initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of our management systems, in which Health and Safety objectives are regarded by all as an integral part of our overall business goals.
The Company recognizes its legal responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its associated underpinning regulations, including The Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006 (ROGS). Accordingly, the Managing Director has overall responsibility for policy formulation, development and implementation. The Company considers that Health and Safety legislation provides only the minimum standards and shall continually seek to improve upon those legal requirements.
We shall ensure that all employees are informed about the Policy and its mandatory compliance. We shall consult with them on its implementation and their own individual Health and Safety responsibilities. All employees shall be provided with the appropriate training so that they can fulfil their Health and Safety responsibilities. The principle operational responsibility for Health and Safety and for the implementation of this Policy lies with all employees. An appropriate number of Health and Safety advisers and representatives with a specific role shall be appointed to provide independent and authoritative advice to management.
We shall continuously monitor Health and Safety performance to ensure that standards are met and management controls are working. The Company’s policy and safety performance shall be reviewed, as a minimum, annually. Revisions to the Policy shall be implemented as a result of any deficiencies highlighted by the review, or by new legislation and rail Standards, or by business development.

Equality & Diversity Policy Statement

The purpose of this policy is to provide diversity and equality to all in employment, irrespective of their gender, race, ethnic origin, disability, age, nationality, national origin, sexuality, religion or belief, marital status and social class. We oppose all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination.
All employees, whether part time, full time or temporary, will be treated fairly and equally.
Selection for employment, promotion, training or any other benefit will be on the basis of aptitude and ability.
All employees will be helped and encouraged to develop their full potential and the talents and resources of the workforce will be fully utilised to maximise the efficiency of the organisation.

    and achievement of objectives and targets.

  • Prevent pollution of the environment and have procedures in place to deal with
    environmental accidents.

  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and Network Rail Standards.

  • Improve and integrate, where possible, environmental management into our
    business systems.

  • Ensure that effective relationships are maintained with industry partners,
    regulatory bodies and other interested parties.

  • Examine our use of resources, plant, and materials, and seek to minimise use
    and recycle or reuse waste where practicable.

  • Involve all staff in the promotion of NTS attitude to the environment, through
    environmental awareness, training and guidance.

  • Set and monitor environmental objectives and targets each year.
