Prerequisites
- Candidates must be 18 years old or over
- Candidates must have a Sentinel card with a valid Personal Track Safety, COSS OR IWA competency
- Valid medical and D&A relevant to your current sponsor and competency
Course Aims
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to undertake points operator duties.
Course objectives
- Demonstrate their availability to interpret relevant sections from network rail rule book GE/RT 800 series.
Demonstate their knowledge and ability to manually operate power points motors in line with relevant rules and regulations
